As you may already know, Brisbane City is building a new cross-river rail line, with part of the line crossing from Albert Street in the main CBD to Woolloongabba. This project will cost a total of $5.9 billion and will cover 10.2km of ground, which includes 5.9km under the Brisbane River and CBD. Stated to be completed by 2021, it will unlock the bottleneck during peak hours.
As a part of this project, there have been renovations happening in and around Woolloongabba, so brand new Brisbane City Council Bollards were required to protect the new bike lanes and roads.
