As you may already know, Brisbane’s Cross River Rail project has been one of the city’s biggest infrastructure investments. With the new line connecting the CBD from Albert Street through to Woolloongabba and beyond, the $5.9 billion project spans 10.2km - including 5.9km of underground tunnels beneath the Brisbane River and inner city.
Now that much of the major construction has wrapped up, the Woolloongabba area has undergone a noticeable transformation. Alongside the new station and streetscape upgrades, the Brisbane City Council has been updating pedestrian paths, bike lanes, and public access areas - and that’s where we come in.
